1. Delivery coverage
Furnix UG coordinates furniture delivery within Uganda based on destination, product size, vendor location, access conditions and available delivery partners. Some locations or unusually large items may require a custom delivery quote before fulfilment.
2. Delivery charges
Where a standard delivery fee applies, it is shown at checkout. Oversized furniture, long-distance delivery, stairs, restricted access, cranes, special handling, assembly or installation may require an additional confirmed charge before dispatch. Furnix UG will not intentionally add a material undisclosed delivery charge after an order has been accepted without first obtaining the customer's agreement.
3. Delivery timing
Displayed delivery dates are estimates unless Furnix UG expressly confirms a fixed date. Lead times can differ for stocked, vendor-supplied and made-to-order furniture. Custom fabrication, timber/material availability, weather, road conditions, access restrictions and events outside reasonable control may affect timing.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide an accurate phone number, delivery address, landmark/location details and reasonable access for the product ordered. For large furniture, the customer should confirm doorway, corridor, staircase, lift and room access before delivery. Extra costs caused by incorrect information, failed access, waiting time or repeat delivery may be charged where reasonably disclosed.
5. Inspection on delivery
Customers should inspect the packaging, quantity and visible condition of goods on delivery where reasonably possible. Any visible damage, missing item or obvious mismatch should be noted with the delivery team and reported to Furnix UG promptly.
6. Assembly and installation
Assembly or installation is included only where stated in the product/order or separately agreed. Customers are responsible for ensuring the installation area is safe, accessible and ready. Electrical, structural, plumbing or building works outside the agreed furniture installation are not included unless expressly quoted.
7. Failed or refused delivery
If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable, access is unsafe, the address is incorrect or delivery is refused without a valid product issue, Furnix UG may reschedule and charge reasonable additional delivery/storage costs where permitted.
8. Unavailable goods
If a confirmed item becomes unavailable, Furnix UG will contact the customer to offer an appropriate alternative, revised fulfilment arrangement or refund of the affected amount in accordance with the Refund & Returns Policy and applicable law.
Use your order reference where relevant so support can locate the correct transaction.
